Setting the Research Agenda
We’re thrilled to launch the 2025 SPI Grant on Water Diplomacy, opening on March 8th, 2025! This is a unique opportunity for early-career researchers to bridge the gap between cutting-edge water diplomacy research and real-world policy impact.

The goal of such grants is to support researchers in translating their work into actionable insights that can foster sustainable and equitable cooperation over shared water resources. Whether it’s through applied research, knowledge transfer, or engagement activities, this grant empowers scholars to make a tangible difference in water diplomacy and hydropolitics.
