Blue Peace

The Geneva Water Hub supports the aims and spirit of the Blue Peace programmes established by the Swiss Agency for Development and Cooperation (SDC). Switzerland offers countries its support in managing water resources more effectively and reducing tensions among various users, including private consumers, the energy industry, and agriculture, at both national and regional levels. The Blue Peace initiative, launched in 2010, fosters cross-border cooperation and national dialogues on water access issues. It operates on the principle that fair and efficient water resource management contributes to sustainable peace.
