The Platform for International Water Law provides a forum for all stakeholders in the field of international water law – experts, practitioners, diplomats and civil society representatives in Geneva and beyond – to discuss and debate topical issues and challenges in international water law such as the protection of water infrastructure during armed conflict, human rights, boundary delimitation, energy production, and environmental protection. Relying on academic research and expert work, that platform connects individuals and organizations, breaks down silos and advances the protection of water systems, notably with the aim of promoting the human right to water and sanitation.
